How it works?

Step 1-4 are the stages required for the planning set.

Step 1. Register
Once registration is complete you will be instructed to make the Stage 1 payment of £149.99. Once this is complete, you will have access to your web portal, which will guide you through the processes.

Step 2. Sketches and Photos
Prepare the dimensioned floor plans of the existing and proposed together with photos of the exterior of the property. Remember - for the purposes of Planning and Building Regulations approval, the dimensions do not need to be millimeter perfect. Once registered you can view the sample sketch sheet. Once the above is complete and all information has been uploaded, you will then be instructed to make the Stage 2 payment of £200

Alternatively, please contact us if you would prefer one of our agents to undertake the survey.

Step 3. Issue of Draft Plans.
Once the payment is received, we will issue your draft plans within 7 working days. You will then be able to check your drawings are to your satisfaction and approve. At this stage you have the opportunity for one amendment free of charge. Once you approve the drawings you will be instructed to make the Stage 3 Payment of £200

Step 4. Issue of Final Plans
Once the drawings are approved and final payment is made, you will receive your formal drawings. You have the option to select any of the additional services we offer including: application submission, survey etc. Once the application is submitted, it can take up to eight weeks for determination.

Step 5 - Optional - Building Control Plans
Once the relevant building control stage fee has been paid, we will prepare and submit the building regulations drawings to your local authority. We can also obtain quotations for any additional services that may be required, such as structural engineers (at vastly reduced rates). You will again have the opportunity to check and approve the drawings prior to submission. Once submitted the approval can take up to 5 weeks, however as we are an approved LABC partner, this is often as little as two weeks.

We are always on hand via email or phone to answer any questions you may have.
